Farmer

Today i traveled back in time to Ancient Egypt to see what a farmer's life was like. In my journey I discovered that farmers lived in mud brick houses. Men and boys worked in the fields irrigating crops with a shaduf,which brought water from a river to a canal. I became tired after a short period of time because of the extreme heat. It is now the month of July in Egypt, which is during the flood months, so all the farmers are called for service to the government. Unfortunatly, the wealthy farmers could buy their way out of service, and it just so happens that the family I was with didn't fall under that category. By the end of the day I decided that I was ready to go back home. Life as a farmer in Aincient Egypt wasn't anything fun. It was really hard work and exhausting.
